This Friday (the 13th…) at around 6:30 PM I will be giving a presentation of my work at Fight Club as part of the David Alan Harvey Presents exhibition.    I will begin with a slideshow presentation of the current exhibition “After the Storm” as well as a short discussion on the project; after which I will present previews of other projects I am working on.  I have recently completed a multimedia piece for “In the Night”, my project on the Lower East Side of the City that Never Sleeps, of which I am quite proud and eager to show off:)  I will also give a quick presentation of “Songs of Glories Long Since Past”, part of an ongoing project on the ancient rites of Carnival and their expressions around the world.  The program will begin when we’ve reached enough critical mass, but don’t worry if you come in late…things are pretty informal at Fight Club.

If you missed the opening event last Saturday night–and bummer for you if you did because it was a helluva party–this would be a good opportunity for you to come and see the show.   Fotoweek ends this Saturday night (or is it Sunday?)…we will be taking most of the show down next week, but if you would like to schedule an appointment to see some specific works, contact Anthony Smallwood at 202-607-1495 or call me at 252-202-2399.
